Chief of Lashkar-e-Toiba Mahmood Shah has condemned the arrest of Hurriyat leaders in Kashmir and alleged atrocities and restrictions imposed on Kashmiri students.
In an e-mailed statement Shah said that “biased media and BJP government are manipulating population and attacking Kashmiris and members of the minority community.”
He condemned “the ban imposed on a pro-Kashmiri organization by Pakistan and said that such measures are nothing but a betrayal to the sentiments of Kashmiris.”
Shah thanked the members of Sikh community for protecting the Kashmiri students, traders and drivers from mob attacks.
