Mahmood Shah, chief Lashkar-e-Taiba Jammu Kashmir, on Friday strongly condemned the shifting of Asiya Andarabi, chairperson Dukhtaran-e-Millat, and her two associates Fahmeeda Sofi and Nahida Nasreen, to Tihar Jail in Delhi, a statement issued by the outfit said.
"New Delji is utterly frustrated for foreseeing their defeat. National Investigation Agency and Indian institutions impose fake allegations on the pro-freedom leadership so as to suppress the indigenous freedom struggle. Such vicious plans will never bear success," the statement said.
Mahmood Shah said, according to the statement, that "New Delhi is plotting deadly conspiracies and will fall to any extent for political gains. The very lives of the leadership of Dukhtaran-e-Millat are in severe danger."
"The United Nations Security Council must take notice of India's atrocities and play their due proactive role in the release of Syeda Asiya Andarabi and her associates," he said.
Shah hailed the strike and civil curfew call given by the Joint Resistance Leadership against shifting of Asiya and her associates.
He requested the people to fully cooperate with the leadership to make the strike a success.
