Stating that it was democratic right of every human being to protest, chief of Lashkar-e-Taiba Mahmood Shah has strongly condemned the thrashing and arrest of students at Degree College Baramulla.
In a statement issued today, Shah condemned the raids on students’ homes. He asked the chief minister Mehbooba Mufti to take immediate measures for release of arrested students.
The LeT chief also asked the leadership of Hurriyat Conference for arranging visit to the affected areas saying the move will console affected families. Shah said people would continue to demonstrate against forcible control.
