Life returned to normal in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday after a four-day shutdown against the killing of militants in Warpora and Kreeri encounters.
A local militant TahirAhmad War alias Tahir Molvi of Warpora was among two militants killed in a longgunfight with government forces in Warpora on Saturday after forces launchedsearches Thursday morning.
Another local militant Aamir Rasool Kaboo of Arampora waskilled in a gunfight at Kalantra Kandi area of Kreeri Baramulla on Thursday.
All shops, offices and other business establishments openedon Monday across the town. Both private and public transport plied normally.
