Save Sharda Committee Kashmir (SSCK) on Saturday urged Union government to take up LoC permit issue with Pakistan government in order to make religious tourism hassle free for Kashmiris on both sides.
In a statement, committee's president Ravinder Pandita said government should take this issue with Pakistan government. "…So that Kashmiris on both sides of LOC are allowed to undertake pilgrimage. This will boost heritage and religious tourism," he said.
He added: "committee has been pressing for amendment in LoC permit so that annual pilgrimage in addition to the present mechanism of travel for J&K residents across LoC".
