Make Yoga a habit to confront stress: IG CRPF

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel on Friday celebrated International Yoga Day at Recruitment Training Centre, Humhama here.

According to a statement issued by the CRPF spokesman SanjaySharma, mass Yoga was performed by more than 1000 personnel of CRPF, BSF, ITBPand SSB. “The programme was organized under the aegis of Inspector General ofCRPF Srinagar sector in conformity with the directives of the ministry of Ayushin which yogis, clad in white and black Ayush prescribed outfits performedvarious steps of Yoga in the sunny ambience,” the spokesman said.

   

The  IGP Sahi in hisaddress said, “Include Yoga in daily life. It will have far reachingpsycho-somatic advantages without geographical, demographical, and religiouslimits. The inculcation of Yoga as a habit in daily routine services serves avery special and positive purpose where men are away from their families forlong spells and are perennially confronted with the personal and professionalstress.”
