Malik discharged from SKIMS

JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik who was admitted to SKIMS Soura here several days ago, was today discharged from the hospital.

“Yasin Malik was admitted to SKIMS on February 14 after suffering from Haematuria, acute urinary retention and severe pain. His USG showed blood clots in his bladder that were causing obstruction to urine flow. He was immediately shifted to operation theater where a catheter was fixed to his body,” JKLF spokesperson said in a statement.

   

“Multiple USG reports after removal of catheter showed some blood clots in the bladder which was managed conservatively by a team of doctors led by Dr Muhammad SaleemWani. The doctors today discharged him from hospital,” the statement said, expressing satisfaction over the health condition of Malik.

The spokesman expressed gratitude to all social, religious, political leaders and organizations and the common people who prayed for Malik, visited him at hospital or wished him well over phone. He also applauded the dedication, passion and specialized skills of doctors at SKIMS who are treating patients with professionalism and care. He thanked all doctors, paramedical staff and related people for their support.
