A man who had fallen from an electric tower at Kulan in Gund tehsil of Kangan area in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday, succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday.
Officials said a labourer, Muhammad Iqbal Theekry (47) of Kulan Gund, was injured critically when he fell from a tower of 220KV Sgr-Leh transmission line on Sunday. He had climbed the tower to help its fixing.
Theekry accidentally fell from the tower receiving critical injuries. He was rushed to SKIMS Soura Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday. Police have taken cognizance of the case.
