An elderly man was critically injured in bear attack in Dolipora village here on Wednesday.
A police official identified the injured as Wali Muhammad Sheikh, son of Habibullah Sheikh. “He was working in an orchard when he came under the attack by bear,” the official said.
Sheikh was rushed to nearby hospital wherefrom he was shifted to District Hospital Handwara for advanced treatment.
