Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has expressed her grief over the killing of four policemen in an IED blast in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.
Taking to Twitter, Mehbooba wrote: “Pained to hear that four policemen have been killed in an IED explosion in Sopore. My deepest condolences to their families”.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Munir Khan said that four policemen were killed in the IED blast.
He said that three shops were also damaged in the blast. “The IED was planted beneath a shop,” said a source.
