District Information Office, Shopian organised a Mehfil-e-Mushaira at the office of the Koshur Forum Shopian in which many eminent poets recited their poetic collection.
The function was held in collaboration with Koshur Forum Shopian.
During the Mushaira, Hameed Nasir, Jan Nisar Ahmad, Mohammad Yaqoub Naseem, Gulzar Dewa, Ashraf Hammad, Showkat Ali Khan Muztar, Raja Waheed, Mushtaq Mazroob, Ghulam Hassan Khan Shaheen, Mohd Shafi Niyaz and other poets recited their poetry which enthralled the audience.
The organisers said that such functions shall be held in future as well as they provide a platform to literary and creative activities and help in their nourishment.
