A militant hideout was busted on Wednesday in a forested area of Ganderbal, police said.
A police official said a team of security forces consistingpersonnel of 118 Bn CRPF and SOG of Ganderbal district went on a search afterreceiving a tip and found some old ammunition in the hideout in the upperGagangeer area of Kangan.
The ammunition recovered from the hideout included twowireless sets, six pieces of grenadefuse, two grenade clips, six grenade covers besides AK and SLR bullets.
