Srinagar, August 20: A militant was killed in an ongoing gunfight in Khrew area of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.
“AwantiporaEncounterUpdate: 01 unidentified #terrorist killed. #Operation in progress. Further details shall follow,” police said on Twitter.
The gunfight broke out today morning after police and security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Khrew.
