Suspected militants attacked a CRPF party in Awantipora tehsil of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district shortly after midnight. Reports said that the militants fired upon a CRPF vehicle near Kharmod in Awantipora around 1 am and fled from the spot.
They said that the area was cordoned off by the forces after the attack. There was no report of any casualties.
