Srinagar, April 19: Militants on Tuesday evening lobbed a grenade at the police station Budgam. However, there was no report of any damage.
Quoting a police official, news agency KNT reported that bike-borne militants hurled a grenade towards police station Budgam that exploded outside its main gate.
The alert sentry, as per the official, fired at the militants. However, they managed to escape from the spot.
The area was cordoned off and searches undertaken to trace the militants, he added.
