Srinagar, July 1: A six-year-old girl was killed in a leopard attack in Gopalpora village of Mattan area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday, officials said.
The leopard pounced upon the girl identified as Zubaida Jan, daughter of Ghulam Mohuiddin Chopan when she was outside her home.
Her family and locals tried to come to her rescue, but the beast left the girl critically injured, leading to her death.
