Anantnag police today claimed to have recovered a minor girl and arrested the accused kidnapper.
A person reported in Police Station Srigufwara and stated his minor daughter, about 13 years of age, was kidnapped by a resident of Khirm Bijbehara (all names withheld), a police handout said.
“On receipt of this information, a case was registered and investigation under the supervision of SHO Srigufwara was started.
“After hectic efforts, Anantnag police recovered the minor girl and arrested the accused.
“A case FIR number 01/18 under section 363, 109 RPC was registered and further investigation is going on.”
