Chairman of Awami Action Committee (AAC) and Hurriyat (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Tuesday expressed his heartfelt condolences on the demise of Gulzar Ahmed Tenga, son of AAC's senior leader Khawaja Habibullah Tenga.
Tenga, who was a prominent businessman of Srinagar, breathed his last in wee hours today after prolonged illness.
Mirwaiz said the deceased was not only a prominent businessman but a person who always worked for the betterment of society.
Mirwaiz led the funeral prayers of the deceased at Ganjbaksh park in Nowhata area of Old Srinagar after which Tenga was laid to rest in a nearby graveyard at Malkha.
Mirwaiz expressed solidarity with the family members particularly Tariq Tenga, Javid Tenga and Ishtiaq Tenga.
Meanwhile, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, president Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries besides chief of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) GA Mir also condoled the demise.
The deceased was a relative of senior Congress leader and former minister Taj-Mohiuddin.
