Hurriyat (M) chairman and the chief cleric of Jammu andKashmir, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq while condemning the rape of a minor girl inBandipora on Monday appealed people to maintain unity and vigil.
“Fervent Appeal to all peple of Kashmir to maintain unityand vigil especially in view of mischievous forces waiting to create asectarian divide out of this most reprehensible crime against a child which isindeed a crime against all humanity. A three-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Sumbal area ofnorth Kashmir’s Bandipora district on May 08. The accused has been arrested bythe police.
The incident has sparked outrage in Kashmir with peopledemanding speedy probe into the case.
