A purported picture of a missing youth of Kralpora, Kupwara went viral on Friday. The picture showed him purportedly holding an assault rifle suggesting that he might have joined militant ranks.
Aijaz Ahmed Malik son of Abdul Ahad Malik, a resident of Dardsun Kralpora, Kupwara, was missing since last one week.
On Friday, a purported picture showing him holding an assault rifle went viral, triggering speculation that the youth may have joined militant ranks.
The local police officials however said they were in the process of authenticating the viral picture.
