A middle-aged man who went missing on Friday was found dead inside a mosque washroom in Srinagar on Saturday morning.
Reports said that a man, identified as Abdul Qayoom Khan son of late Abdul Rehman of Gilli Kadal Zoonimar, was found dead by worshippers inside the bathroom of a mosque in Sharibhat area, reported news agency GNS.
Quoting officials, it said that the 55-year-old had gone missing from 1500 hours on Friday.
Confirming it, a police official said that a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been taken up.
