A teenager who was missing from his home in Tangmarg since past few days was traced on Tuesday after his father’s emotional plea for help was broadcast on Greater Kashmir YouTube channel.
The family members of 16-year-old Faisal Dar of Gund Dalwash Karhama had earlier told Greater Kashmir that he went missing on August 17 from a picnic spot.
Dar was luckily traced few hours after Greater Kashmir broadcast an emotional video of his father asking for help.
“Alhamdulilah Faisal has been traced. He was travelling to Jammu. Fortunately, due to social media, his co-passengers recognised him and contacted the family. He is safe and has been received at Srinagar. He will be home within an hour.”
“We are very thankful to you guys at GK and the public,” said a relative, in an email to Greater Kashmir.
