ML condemns assassination of Moulana Sami-ul-Haq

Muslim League (ML) Jammu and Kashmir, headed by incarcerated senior leader Masarat Aalam Bhat, today condemned assassination of religious scholar Maulana Sami ul Haq by some unidentified attackers.

“Maulana Sami ul Haq was a towering Islamic scholar whose main aim and objective was the stability of Pakistan and unity in Muslim Ummah. He was the strong supporter of Kashmir movement. He always supported  legitimate demand of people of Kashmir and played his role at all levels for the implementation of UN resolutions for the settlement of Kashmir dispute,” the ML spokesman Sajjad Ayobi, said in a statement.

   

“He was assassinated because he stood firm on his mission to counter the conspiracies of enemies to destabilize Pakistan.” 

Meanwhile,  the ML spokesman  paid rich tributes to the militant of Arampora, Sopre, Nasir Ahmad Teli, who was killed in a gunfight with the forces in Handwara. “A delegation of League led by party general secretary Rafiq Ahmad Ganai, visited the residence of the slain youth. The delegation offered special for prayer for the slain youth and expressed solidarity with his family,” the spokesman added.
