MLA Shopian advocate Muhammad Yousuf Bhat has expressed anguish over the delay in restoration of power supply in entire district despite repeated claims of the administration that the power supply has been restored.
In a statement Bhat said that it has been more than 96 hrs, since power supply has been snapped and entire district has been reeling under darkness since then.
He said, “It seems the administration has been buried under a few inches of snow and the tall claims of the administration regarding restoration of power supply have proved to be a hoax.”
“People from entire district are upset and angered to see power remaining snapped for more than 96 hours with administration completely invisible on ground for restoration of services,” he said.
He appealed the Governor administration to direct the concerned authorities for immediate restoration of power supply to district Shopian, so that people are not made to suffer any more for want of electricity.
