Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Saturday condemned the thrashing of its polling agents in Devar, Lolab the other day and has demanded stern action against the perpetrators.
Party senior leader and MLC Qaisar Jamsheed Lone whilecondemning the incident said, “Our polling agents were thrashed on the pollingday. We have credible information that the attack was carried out at the behestof our opponents. The intimidation hasn’t stopped, our agents are feelingthreatened. I urge the incumbent district administration to initiate a timebound inquiry into the matter and bring the culprits to justice,” he said.
