Omar Abdullah’s political advisor, Tanvir Sadiq, on Sunday cautioned that any tampering with J&K’s special status would have “disastrous socio-political consequences”.
Speaking at workers’ convention at Hawal, JPCC colony,Kawdara and New Colony, Zadibal, Tanvir said that J&K shall continue toenjoy special status by virtue of Article 370 and Article 35A, adding thatNational Conference was “always ready to offer any kind of sacrifice for itsprotection”.
Calling upon people to vote in favor of Farooq Abdullah forSrinagar-Budgam Lok Sabha seat, Tanvir said that the upcoming parliamentaryelections have become a “decisive battle between communal and secular forces”.
