The two major Opposition Parties, National Conference and Congress, Tuesday ran a parallel house during the third day of autumn session of Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly to scoff at the government.

Usman Majeed of Congress demanded a discussion on Article 35 A from former Speaker Mubarak Gul of National Conference who stood at the entrance of the well with a defunct microphone.

Gul, who was addressed as the speaker by opposition parties, allowed the discussion, triggering laughter in the house.

Later, the Opposition staged a walk-out from the house.

Earlier, two legislators of National Conference Altaf Kaloo and Abdul Majeed Larnoo were marshalled out of the house after the former threw microphones of the Speaker Kavinder Gupta into the well.
