NF concerned over Peer Saifullah’s deteriorating health in Tihar jail

Jammu Kashmir National Front (NF) today expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health of incarcerated Peer Saifullah at Tihar jail in Delhi and demanded immediate release of all political detainees.

“New Delhi should release all political prisoners of Kashmir unconditionally. Even courts have now come to know that there is nothing against them and all the accusations against them are politically motivated,” a NF spokesman said in a statement.

“Reports suggest that Peer Saifullah, who was operated upon for his head tumor before his arrest is seriously ill in Tihar jail which has endangered his life so he must immediately admitted in the some hospital where he is provided specialized treatment,” the spokesman said.

Meanwhile, the spokesman said, “Shahid- ul- Islam, who is also languishing in the same jail, has some serious domestic problems including his wife’s ailment. Same is the case with National Front chairman, Nayeem Khan whose old mother is seriously ill and desperately wants to see his jailed son. All the political prisoners of Kashmir languishing in different jails in and outside the state are facing lot problems.”
