Jammu Kashmir National Front today condemned the frequent summoning of its chairman and senior resistance leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, to New Delhi for questioning.

"Nayeem has been summoned in the name of the so-called questioning by NIA. This is for the fourth time that he has been summoned to New Delhi. India and its institutions like NIA are trying hard to break his political will," NF spokesperson said in a statement.

"India and its institutions must keep in mind that Nayeem is not the name of any accidental leader but a born pro-freedom activist who has always fought the imperialistic designs with will and velour. NIA is working as a weapon to weaken the ongoing resistance movement by targeting the faces of resistance like Nayeem. Every effort is being made to compel him to change his political stance on Kashmir dispute. For it first a media trial organised against him and then pre-planned raids were held to create a fear in him," he said.

"When nothing was recovered or obtained in the raids he is being time and again called to Delhi in the name of so-called questioning," the spokesperson added.
