Senior vice-president of Peoples Conference, Abdul Gani Vakil on Wednesday said that National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah Omar is trying to exploit and invoke the sentiments of innocent people in the name of restoring of positions of Sadr-i-Riyasat and Wazeer-e-Azam.
Addressing electoral meetings in various villages ofRafiabad, Vakil said that “Omar’s statement to revert
positions of Sadr-e-Riyasat and Wazeer-e-Azam is aimed athoodwinking people.”
“Omar has realised that his party’s debacle is imminent. Tocounter that he is trying to lure the masses by striking the chord of therestoration of the status of Sadr-i-Riyasat and Wazeer-e-Azam,” he said.
Vakil said that it was National Conference’s alliancepartner Congress which amended the positions of PM and Sadr-i-Riyasat in 1965.”Isn’t it true that the party you have allied with is the one which demolishedthe positions of Sadr-i-Riyasat and Wazeer-e-Azam?” he asked.
