A person died while two others were injured in a road mishap at Beehama market in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district last night.
An official said a load carrier (bearing registration number JK16-2675) collided with tempo traveller (bearing registration number JKO2AQ – 8863) near tehsil office at Beehama market Ganderbal last night.
Three persons injured in the mishap were rushed to district hospital Ganderbal where from they were referred to SKIMS Soura and Bone and Joints Hospital Barzulla for specialized treatment.
However, one of the injured – identified as Ashiq Ahmad – succumbed at SKIMS.
A police official said a case under FIR no 86/18 under sections 279, 337, 427 was registered into the incident.
