Government forces claimed to have arrested an “over ground militant worker” from his residence in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
A police official said that army personnel of 3 RR, police and SOG men raided the residence of Sabzar Ahmad Mir at Kelan village in Pulwama and recovered a 9 MM pistol and few magazines from his possession.
He was soon taken into the custody, he said.
Confirming the arrest, the district police chief Mohammad Aslam Choudary said a case has been registered and the investigations were underway.
