Kupwara, Dec 9: A National Lok Adalat was today organised across district Kupwara in which 659 cases of different nature were put up out of which 441 cases were amicably settled, realising an amount of Rs 53.28 lakhs.
The different cases which were taken up in the Lok Adalat include civil, matrimonial, maintenance, domestic violence, recovery of money or loan, motor accident compensation, revenue, criminal compoundable and cheque bounce cases across court complexes of district Kupwara.
