Pakistani army on Saturday fired several mortar shells which landed at Thajal Churanda village of Uri, damaging part of a residential house, police said.
A police official said that Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked shelling along the Line of Control resulting in a partial damage to bathroom of a residential house.
There was no report of any injury or further damage to the property in the area, the official added.
