A lineman was critically injured while repairing a power supply line in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday.
Officials said Farooq Ahmad Thekry, 28, received serious injuries when he came in contact with a live wire, while repairing a supply line at Gund Kangan area of the district.
They said he was rushed to the SKIMS Soura hospital for treatment.
Thekry is a resident of Kullan village of the district, and is works as a daily wager with the Power Development Department (PDD).
