The employees of the GCD wing, Bemina of the power department have been left high and dry by the authorities owing to non-release of last month salary.
A delegation of the employees said the salary for Februaryhas not been released so far. “The employees in the MD office and theChief Engineer’s office have been paid on time. We have been told that the wingawaits allotment,” they said, adding the employees have been paid advancesalary in some states to counter Corona threat effectively.
The employees said thebundling of the department had adversely affected the functioning of the wing.”If they can’t pay the salary on time, what can happen to pension,”they said.
Theemployees have sought intervention of Lt Governor, GC Murmu and Advisor BaseerKhan.
