Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday held a meeting in Sopore and demanded unconditional release of three former J&K Chief Ministers and other political detainees.
A statement said the meeting was chaired by the party Secretary,Abdul Hameed Kosheen and attended by senior leaders.
The statement said several things were discussed during themeeting including the release of the former Chief Ministers and other politicaldetainees.
“The meeting stressed upon the workers to strength the partyat grassroots level,” the statement said. The leaders demanded repair of allroads across Kashmir,BesidesKohseen, Arif laigaroo, Abdul Qayoom Bhat, Mushtaq Ahmad, Ghulam Mohammad War,Abddul Rashid, Ghulam Ahmad Ganie, Bashir Ahmad Beigh and Ali Mohammad Bhat themeeting, among others.
