Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday suspended the public outreach programs amid the Coronavirus threat.
An official statement said the party suspended all publicgatherings and meetings in wake of the Coronavirus threat. The party has alsodecided to cooperate with authorities to tackle the current situation.
It has appealed people to take precautionary measures andact upon advisories being issued by administration for safety of people.
They also appealed the party cadre to remain active andalert in tough times for assistance of needy people.
Meanwhile, the party’s Youth Secretary, Arif Laigoroo hasdemanded immediate restoration of high speed internet services across theValley.
Laigoroo said the authorities should restore the high speedinternet so that people can work from their homes and especially the studentswho were suffering in absence of the internet.
