Peoples Democratic Party, zone Amirakadal, Saturday held a meeting at Shiekhbagh to commemorate Mufti Muhammad Sayeed on his second death anniversary which falls on January 7.
The meeting, a party handout said, was held under the chairmanship of Muhammad Ashraf Dar, PDP zone president Amirakadal.
The meeting was attended by all ward heads and senior party workers of Amirakadal zone. The meeting paid glowing tributes to the PDP founder and recalled his “contribution” to the socioeconomic upliftment of Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting also reviewed arrangements for commemorating 2nd anniversary on January 7 and the workers were asked to assemble at Bijbehara at 11:00 am on Sunday.
