All pensioners of Chanapora zone Wednesday appealed government to enhance medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 3000.
“A meeting of All pensioners of zone chanapora was held on 15 January 2016 under the chairmanship of zonal President Ghulam Qadir Bhat,” reads handout.
“The decision taken by finance minister for implementing the recommendation of 7th pay commission was most welcomed. The medical allowances from Rs 300 be enhanced to Rs 3000 per month,” it adds.
It said that further more “three percent DA installment due with effect from July 2017 be also released at an earliest.”
