Kangan, Mar 21: The Forest Protection Force (FPF) unit Kangan on Thursday carried out a plantation drive at Hayan area in Sindh forest range. The plantation drive was started by Assistant Director FPF Sindh Mohammad Yousuf along with officials of the FPF unit.
They said the plantation drive was aimed at enhancing green cover, promoting environmental sustainability, and combating climate change in the area. Plantation of a significant number of trees across different locations within the RC Hayan was done during the drive.
Meanwhile, the Tehsil administration Tulmulla in collaboration with the Civil Society Tulmulla organised a plantation drive here and they have also planned to follow up on the plantation drive by regularly monitoring the growth and health of the saplings to ensure their survival. Their aim was to make Tulmulla a greener and more sustainable place for the future.
