Militants on Saturday shot dead a policeman in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Quoting sources, news agency GNS reported that the militants attacked a naka party at Frisal Chowk Kulgam, resulting in serious injuries to a policeman, Mohammad Amin Bagad of Sangarwani Pulwama. The policeman, a head constable, was shifted to a hospital.
However, he was declared dead on arrival by the doctors at the hospital, they said.
BMO Quimoh Dr. Abdul Gani told GNS that policeman had bullet injury in his head and was declared dead on arrival.
