Suspected militants have abducted a Special Police Officer (SPO) from his home in TRal region of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district during last night, an official said today.
He said that Mudasir Ahmad Lone, a resident of Chankatar village of Tral was abducted from his home by three militants during the night.
Lone, he said, is posted at police post Reshipora Awantipora where he works as a cook.
SP Awantipora Mohammad Zahid Malik told Greater Kashmir: “SPO is missing since last night and we have launched massive manhunt to trace him.”
