Ganderbal, Sep 18: Police in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society organised an awareness cum training workshop on AIDS at DPL Ganderbal in which officers and jawans participated.
During the programme, the medical experts including Astt Director Lab Services (JKACS) Dr. Imtiyaz Khan and Asst. Director Main Streaming (JKACS) Dr. Sabiha delivered lectures about the transmission of the disease and it’s preventive measures. Many questions were put forth by the participants about the spreading of the disease which were patiently heard by the panel of doctors. The health experts during their speech elaborated “some Do’s & Don’ts to prevent the spread of the disease.”
Later, DySP DAR DPL Ganderbal, Nazir Ahmad thanked the panel of doctors for appraising the participants about the transmission of AIDS. He also thanked all the participants for showing their presence in the awareness training workshop.
