Police on Wednesday observed silence to remember forces personnel who were slain while performing their duties.
A police spokesman said that during a function at District Police Line (DPL) Srinagar, two minutes silence was observed as a mark of respect for the policemen who laid down their lives while performing their professional duties.
The officials present on the occasion paid glowing tributes to the slain policemen and also highlighted the role they have played while performing their duties.
