A policeman was injured during clashes in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday morning.
A police official said that a policeman was hit by a stone in his head during clashes in Bona Murran area of the district.
He said clashes erupted after youth pelted a police party with stones in the village. In retaliation, he said, police fired few tear gas shells.
The injured policeman was identified as Shanshah. He was soon rushed to district hospital Pulwama for treatment, said the official.
