An army man was injured in the ongoing gunfight in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, taking the total number of injured to three.
Earlier, a cop was killed while a sub-inspector of police and a manservant were injured after suspected militants and forces exchanged gunfire.
A police official said that militants were firing from an under construction mini secretariat building near the Army's 93 Brigade headquarters and a residential house in Poonch town.
The encounter began at around 7:30 am.
"The militants have been surrounded and all escape routes were sealed," said a senior police officer, adding the gunfight was continuing.
The deceased constable has been identified as Raj Kumar alias Raju while the injured sub-inspector has been identified as Manzoor Ahmad.
