Residents of Manigam are up in arms against PDD for unscheduled power cuts which was causing inconvenience to them for last several months.
“We don’t get proper power supply in winter. There is powersupply in the morning hours while during the day we face unscheduled powercuts,” said Ali Muhammad Dar, a local resident and a retired engineer. Dar said the authorities were not addressingthe issue of power cuts even as they approached Power Development Department(PDD) officials on several occasions.
