Both the factions of Hurriyat and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) have jointly called for strike on July 10 and 11 against the "killing spree" following Burhan Wani's death in an encounter with forces.
Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that the resistance leadership condemns the "killing spree" by forces personnel in south Kashmir.
At least three youths have died in firing on protesters in Anantnag and Kulgam districts.
"These trigger-happy forces are responding with bullets to the genuine anger of people in Kashmir," he said.
Mirwaiz also appealed people to hold protests from mosques.
