The Advisor to Chief Minister Prof Amitabh Mattoo todays reviewed the over all health care facilities being provided to injured in various hospitals across the valley.
Prof Matoo chaired a high level meeting which was attended by Director SKIMS Dr AG Ahnagar , Principal SKIMS Medical College and Hospital, Bemina Dr Reyaz Untoo besides other senior officials.
Prof. Mattoo while calling for providing all the requisite healthcare facilities to the people, said that due care should be taken to ensure that medical help is provided in shortest possible time.
The advisor also reviewed supply of medicines and their stock in the valley hospitals. He was told that there is an adequate supply of drugs, especially life saving drugs. The advisor directed officers to immediately project the demands if there is any shortage so that adequate measures are taken.
Later, Prof Mattoo undertook extensive tour of the Srinagar city and took on spot review of the situation, besides interacting with locals at different places. He said that the government has initiated necessary measures so that people do not face any inconvience due to shortage of essential commodities.
